Enki turns business-card text, selected contact information, and voice notes into contact records and follow-up tasks that you review before saving to a spreadsheet, your phone, or a connected customer-relationship management system ("CRM"). These terms are the agreement between you and Bennu for using Enki. The Enki Privacy Policy explains how we handle information; please read it too.
By creating an account or using Enki, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Enki. You must be at least 18 years old to use Enki. If you use Enki on behalf of a company, you confirm you are permitted to accept these terms for the account you use.
Enki uses AI services to turn what you capture into structured records. AI output can be wrong or incomplete: names get misheard, titles get misread, numbers get transposed. That is why Enki shows you every proposed record before anything saves. You are responsible for reviewing what Enki proposes and approving only what is accurate and appropriate. Nothing saves without your approval.
Enki adds records to your destinations. It does not delete people from your CRM, your spreadsheet, or your phone contacts.
You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep that sign-in method secure; activity under your account is your responsibility. Each account is for one person's own use.
Use Enki only for lawful purposes. Three rules matter most:
Recording other people. Enki is designed for dictating your own notes after a conversation. Laws on recording other people differ by state and country, and some places require every participant's consent. If you record anyone other than yourself, you are solely responsible for getting any consent the law requires.
Information about other people. The contact details you capture, import, or save describe real people. Only submit information you have the right to use, and follow the laws that apply to how you store and contact those people afterward.
No abuse. Do not use Enki through scripts or automation, share or resell an account, scrape the service, probe or disrupt our systems, reverse engineer the app except where the law permits it, or submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or harassing.
The information you capture and the records you approve are yours. You give Bennu permission to host, process, and transmit that content solely to operate Enki, including through the service providers described in the Privacy Policy (transcription, AI structuring, and hosting). We do not use your captures to train AI models. When you delete content or your account, this permission ends for new processing, subject to the limited retention described in the Privacy Policy.
Your CRM, spreadsheet, and phone contacts are separate services with their own terms. Connecting one authorizes Enki to write your approved records to it on your behalf. Records that reach a destination are governed by your agreement with that destination. We are not responsible for third-party services, including their availability or changes they make that affect Enki's ability to write to them.
Enki currently includes a free capture allowance, shown in the app. If we introduce paid plans, prices and subscription terms will be presented before you pay, and those subscription terms will become part of these terms for subscribers.
You can stop using Enki at any time, and you can delete your account and its data in the app under Privacy & account. The Privacy Policy explains what deletion removes. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or to protect Enki and its users. Unless immediate action is needed for serious or unlawful abuse, we contact you first. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive (including Your content, the disclaimers, the limits on liability, indemnification, and governing law) survive.
ENKI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. BENNU DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ENKI WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT TRANSCRIPTS AND AI-GENERATED RECORDS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS: (A) BENNU WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES; AND (B) BENNU'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO ENKI IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID BENNU FOR ENKI IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR $100. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, FOR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR FOR ANYTHING THE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW TO BE LIMITED. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITS, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
If someone brings a claim against Bennu because of (a) your violation of these terms, (b) a recording you made without consent the law required, (c) content or information you captured, imported, or sent to a destination, or (d) your violation of law or of someone else's rights, you agree to indemnify and hold Bennu harmless from that claim, including reasonable attorneys' fees. This does not apply to the extent a claim arises from Bennu's own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you and Bennu consent to venue there. If the law where you live gives you mandatory consumer rights or a mandatory venue, these terms do not take those away.
If we make a material change to these terms, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Enki after that means you accept the change; if you do not, stop using Enki and delete your account. We may update the date above for clarifications that do not change your rights.
These terms, together with any subscription terms you accept, are the entire agreement between you and Bennu about Enki. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part of these terms, that is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms; Bennu may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same terms. There are no third-party beneficiaries.
